Now it is time to vote in Exmouth’s own referendum. It is local and important in shaping Exmouth’s future. EXMOUTH'S COMMUNITY Over the past three years Exmouth residents have given the community-led steering group for the Exmouth Neighbourhood Plan clear and constructive views on how they want the town to develop. Your views have been carefully recorded and fully discussed, then reflected as much as possible in the Neighbourhood Plan. Your Chance to say” Yes” or “No”. The referendum will be on Thursday 21st March. The question asked in the referendum will be: 'Do you want East Devon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Exmouth to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’ EXMOUTH'S FIRST NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN REFERENDUM This is the first time the people of Exmouth have been given the opportunity to vote on a Neighbourhood Plan and to have so much influence.
